RELEASE|May 19, 2021
Contact: Ken Borton

State Rep. Ken Borton today invited residents of Northern Michigan to participate in his summer photography contest.

“There’s a reason so many people in our state love visiting ‘up north’ in the summertime and throughout the year: Northern Michigan’s natural beauty is the pride of our state,” said Borton, of Gaylord. “I encourage everyone to enjoy Northern Michigan this summer and capture its beauty to share with others.”

Submissions should be photographs of outdoor scenery in the counties of Antrim, Charlevoix, Montmorency, Oscoda and Otsego. The five counties comprise the 105th House district, which Borton represents. Only district residents are eligible to enter.

Borton will judge the entries and select a winner. The winning picture will be displayed in his House office in Lansing.

Photos may be submitted by email to [email protected] or mailed to S-1389, P.O. Box 30014, Lansing, MI 48909. Each submission should include name and contact information, including address. Submissions will be accepted between June 1 and August 1.

Individuals with any questions can contact Borton’s office by phone at 517-373-0829 or by email at [email protected].
