“I wish to extend my congratulations to Congresswoman McDonald Rivet. With her election, the 35th State Senate district is now vacant and we’re waiting on a special election to be called by Gov. Whitmer. As we wait, I want the people I serve in Mid-Michigan to know my office is at your service to assist anyone who needs help with a state agency or would like to have their voice heard on a legislative issue.
“The 35th Senate District is vacant, but people in Midland County should know they have a strong advocate in Lansing.”
